Play some D&D!
I have begun inviting people to play D&D using AIM. I know it might not be the most popular thing to do, but until i find some chatroom code that doesn’t completly suck ass, we’ll be using AIM. AIM has a die roller built into it, however the syntax is extremely annoying and it’s much more simple and fun to use real dice, so we’re gonna have to trust each other here
. If you are interested in playing a bit ‘o D&D through AIM, my screen name is DaveG825, and I’m on whenever I’m available. Let’s work with it until I get a good chat room for this site.
UPDATE: My buddy Chris is trying to figure something out for AIM. Currently, the best syntax is
//roll-X-sidesY
with X being the number of dice you wish to roll, and Y being the number of sides said die(dice) should have. The roll will obviously be seen by everyone in the room. Which brings up a good point, you must be in an AIM chat room in order to use the die roller.
